New Head of Law appointed at the University of ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ
Following a rigorous selection process, Professor Amir Paz-Fuchs has been appointed as the new Head of Law in the School of Social Sciences at the University of ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ.
Amir, who is currently Head of the Law School and Professor of Law and Social Justice at the University of Sussex, will take up the Head of Law role on 1 September 2026.
Amir’s teaching and research interests are around labour and employment law, jurisprudence, social rights and social justice, and legal aspects of privatisation. In 2014, he founded Sussex Clinical Legal Education and was Founding Director of the Law clinics until 2022.
I am delighted that Amir been appointed as the new Head of Law. I know his extensive experience and skills will benefit the Law Department greatly and that, with the School Leadership Team and colleagues, he will build on the Department’s successes across research and innovation, teaching, and social responsibility.
